For the third straight year, Globe Business, the corporate arm of Globe, gave recognition to the country's top micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with its support of the 2009 SIPAG Awards.
Globe Business has actively campaigned for the empowerment of SMEs that is why it has partnered with NLDC in recognizing the winners of the micro-entrepreneurship category of the SIPAG Awards
The winners of the micro-entrepreneurship category were Alegria Benitez of Binmaley, Pangasinan and Soledad Aychoco of Daraga, Albay who bagged the Most Outstanding Micro-entrepreneur Awards for Luzon; while Delano de la Cruz of Batan, Aklan and Dulce L. Silvosa of Cateel, Davao Oriental were conferred the Most Outstanding Micro-entrepreneurs for Visayas and Mindanao respectively. The winners received Globe phone kits from Globe Business.
