A total of 19 NLDC lending partners have participated in various Negosyo Seminars (Negosem) organized by the Philippine Center of Entreprenuership (PCE) in different parts of the country over the past five months.
More than 400 individual borrowers coming from the following organizations took part in the Negosem: Rural Bank of Montevista, Ad Jesum Development Foundation, Alalay sa Kaunlaran Inc., Nagkakaisang Magsasaka Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Ligas Kooperatiba ng Bayan sa Pagpapaunlad, Lapu Lapu Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Entrepreneurs Alumni Development Cooperative, Rural Bank of Guinobatan, Coop Bank of Cagayan, Cooperative Rural Bank of Bulacan, Gulf Bank, Lamac Multi-Purpose Cooperative, First Agro Industrial Rural Bank, Philippine Cooperative Central Fund Federation, Quidan Kaisahan Negros Occidental Inc., Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Abuyog St. Francis Credit Cooperative, Almeria Seafarers Cooperative, and Bayak-Layog Multi-Purpose Cooperative.
The NLDC gave PCE a counterpart fund of P1.5 Million to support the implementation of the Negosem. The Negosem has been successfully mounted in separate dates in Davao City, Nueva Ecija, Palawan, Albay, Cagayan, Pasay City, Baguio, Pangasinan, Cebu, Zamboanga, Negros Occidental, Rizal, and Leyte.

The Negosem Series is a series of seminars on the how-to’s in entrepreneurship that aims to help micro and small entrepreneurs become more innovative and more strategic. The seminar teaches key principles in entrepreneuring, from mindset setting, to marketing, product development, and managing finance. The seminar is free-of-charge to participants. The seminar is conducted by seasoned entrepreneurship experts and mentors such as Pax Lapid, Ping Sotto, Topax Colayco, Mylene Abiva, and Nonoy Espeleta.
